Photo Contest Cancelled!

Okay, I'll admit MY photo contest was lame!

I had two comments in the first day and almost had three. The third was a close friend of mine and she (we) wanted to see some of the guesses before she blew everyone out of the water. Yet, everyone knows what it is! LOL

Maybe I have been reading too much Intermediate Microeconomics - Price Theory and Applications. I am now on the hunt for a good read. One, Two or Three books that I can read and actually enjoy before I start my last semester of school. YEAH!! So if you know of a good book - leave me a comment with a title or two. My friend Muncy has already suggested Angels and Demons. She said it is a MUST read.

Well, I am cancelling the photo contest! Everyone (both of you) are winners in my book. It was a TeePee and here is a full shot of it!

If you want something quick and fun, I'd suggest anything by Emily Giffin. She has three books out and they're all quick, fun, easy reads. Probably best if read in order though: Something Borrowed; Something Blue; and Baby Proof.

Angels and Demons is definitely a MUST read! It's even better than the Da Vinci Code. I lost so much sleep over that book! I also heard that Tom Hanks will be reprising his role as Sr. Robert Langdon to make this a movie as well. Gotta love Tom.

If you haven't read anything by Wally Lamb - I highly reccommend! She's Come Undone is wonderfully sad. I Know This Much Is True is simply magical.

For lighter reading I would suggest Jennifer Weiner (any of her books but Good in Bed is my favorite, and despite the title it isn't raunchy at all).

I could go on and on and onnnn about books, but I will stop now so I don't fill up your entire comments section.

I would suggest something that has both elements of fact but also some flights of fancy. My favourite would be Penthouse as the letters page is much better than Playboy.
Or possibly anything by Tom Robbins, or that Jewish Cowboy guy (forget his name, but he's pretty good) - light reading noe of that heavey literati crap. Oh!! Just remembered, see if you can get anything by Tim Winton he's an Aussie and easy to read.

Your contest wasn't lame, it just didn't offer any prizes. (I'm just kidding). It really wasn't lame, it's just that Ree has a Barhnam and Bailey streak in her and she talked about her's for a week before she did it, therefore getting everyone keyed up and also aggregating the possible participants.

Did you hear about the torture in the wigwam? The pain was intense.

Thanks everyone for your reading suggestions. I am headed to the bookstore today! I picked up Angels & Demons yesterday so I guess that is the first on my list.

susan - don't think I will be doing contests until I have something really good. And prizes!!

Willowtree - you think it was bad inside? You should have seen the guy that got scalped!!!
