A Comment - A Question - & - An Achievement

A Comment
My summer is officially over. My final semester of my college years is here. I think most of you know, but for the newbies I am a student at Oklahoma State University majoring in Finance and minoring in Accounting and Economics. GO COWBOYS!!! I am taking 15 credit hours, 5 classes, all of which are supposed to be very challenging. Oh boy! I hope to keep up on my blogging regularly. If not, contact me and give me a good (proverbial) kick in the seat.

A Question
Am I the only one that wonders about Willowtree and his wife living separately. Hmmm, why is that? It really isn't any of my business, but I do wonder. He is beginning to open up a bit, so maybe he will indulge us one day.

An Achievement
We finally finalized our house plans! I am so excited. I put together my notebook full of the plans, items I want in the house (lights, refrigerator, etc). We are meeting with the builder tomorrow to kind of make sure we are all on the same page. I am sure he will think I am a complete freak when I show him "The" notebook. I just like to be organized.

Extra
And the song that has been stuck in my head all day is: Whip It by Devo.

Crack that whip...Give the past the slip...
Step on a crack...Break your momma's back
When a problem comes along...You must whip it
Before the cream sits out too long...You must whip it
When somethings going wrong...You must whip it

Now whip it - into shape - Shape it up - Get straight - Go Forward - Move ahead - try to detect it - It's not too late
To whip it - Whip it good

Hey welcome back! How was Grannie's?

Good luck with the last semester and if it comes to a choice between blogging and studying, just drop out. You don't need no godamn edeecashun, you got a husband.

It's no real secret why we live apart, actually I'm just finishing a brief history of me that kind of explains it.

I wish at times that me and Robo Cop lived apart. Might make for a happier marriage at times. *LOL*

You guys are crazy if you think I am going to record myself singing. I am leaving that to Ree. Wasn't that a great Ethel Merman impersonation? First of all, I cannot carry a tune in a bucket. I sing very softly in church and at birthday parties. Second, I do not have a microphone connected to the computer. (that was planned)

Thanks WT - will always remember your advice. And you might have mentioned why you two live apart earlier, but I must have missed it. Enquiring minds want to know. I am just the only one blogging about it.

I hope everyone will WHIP IT GOOD! I have moved on to a new song. But I won't be mean and stick another song in your head.

Congrats on the final semester! And when times get rough - just remember, it will be over before you know it!

I also wondered about Willowtree's arrangement. Hmmm..

I'm going to use your notebook idea for our new house plans, etc. I have stacks of papers, lying all about - I need to be organized. Good idea!

Now I'm all singing Devo --- Must. Go. Listen. To. Prince.

ROFL!!! It took me DAYS to get "Landslide" out of my head after reading your post about it a while back.

RE: your question about WT - Yes, I wonder too. I'm just too chicken to ask (or answer) personal questions. With so many people bugging him, he will eventually cave :)

Good luck on the house - we just went through that 4 years ago. STRESSFUL!

Just found your blog...am slow but consistent...I knew you had to live "close-by" to Ree from reading your comments. And yes, Go Cowboys...my daughter, son-in-law, and other daughter's boyfriend all graduated from OSU. (The other daughter: OU...Go Sooners, too).
Now, intead of preparing (fixin') dinner (supper), I plan to sit and enjoy your writing.

You lucky lady. I would give my right arm to be back in school... I always seem to forget how greatful I am to be learning when cramming for a deadline or studying for a test. Congrats for being near the end of your journey! That's a HUGE accomplishment.

... such a huge accomplishment that it will be another 5 years before I am where you are ...

Every bit counts I say! Darned full time job gets in the way of my free time. Maybe one of these years I will bite the bullet and take a leave of absence so I can study full-time.

Good luck to you this semester!

Hey everyone! Thanks for all the luck! I am going to act like I don't need it, but just between you and me - I think I do.

Umm, Susan - Thanks. Just thanks! (I took my love and I took it down - take it Susan!)

Karmyn - you are so right. That is why that song was in my head. Girl you are good!!! You got the Another Chance Ranch thing too. (I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy! - Imagine me kneeling down doing the bowing towards you.)

WELCOME Swampwitch!!
So glad you have found your way to my little space. I hope you are entertained. I am curious to know where you are located. I will also go for the Sooners, when they are not playing the Cowboys! Shhh, don't tell!

...now just telling you where I am would be too easy, wouldn't it?
...no fair asking Ree...she has it figured out already !
...glad you root for the Sooners, sometimes'...
First clue: I live west and north of you...

I figured it was just a matter of time til Willowtree spilled...he's been dropping tidbits all along, so GLAD he's finally gotten the story started.

Nothin' like a little techno music to get the blood pumpin...and my java sitting in front of me :). Cheeky's ususally the one who gets songs stuck in my head...this one will be with me all day (and see? you moved on days ago).

You will LOVE having that notebook for your house! I WISH I had that inclination, but alas, I have none (the good thing is I'm living in a house that's already BUILT...but if I didn't, I'd have notebook envy).

I'll miss your eyes, but your new profile pic is CRACKING ME UP!!!
