Another Adorable Stray
What an adorable face. I love big dogs. The bigger the better. As a kid I had a St. Bernard, Cindy. One of my best friends had two Great Danes, not at the same time though. Now I have my Rottie and Weimaraner. This guy walked up to the house in August. He was so friendly and loving. He got some water and some rest. He hung around for quite a while. I called several people trying to find an owner and couldn't find one. McD said that he would probably just go home. I had errands to run so I took off and when I returned he was gone. I know that we didn't need another dog, but this one McD would have wanted to keep. And I would not have been able to say no.
I sure hope he found his way home.

Looks like it has some Boxer in him...the brindle coat is like some from one of our litters.
I do hope he safe somewhere.

See this is where we differ. He scares me. I think I might have been attacked by a dog in another life or something.

And, I love big dogs. Because you can get down and really rub on them and love them - Whenever I pet little dogs I'm always afraid I will break their little bones on accident.
Julie, a similar thing happened to me. I sent you an email with some pics to prove I'm not making it up. I'd do a post but only you and me would be interested, that's why I went with an email instead.
I feel like the orphan at the table. While I would never be mean to this dog or anything, that tongue would just scare me to death.
Lolling tongues. They give me the willies, especially in people, but in dogs too.

What a gorgeous gorgeous dog. Who put the scarf on him, you? He surely isnt' a stray if someone else dressed him so smartly.

I like dogs, but really big dogs make me nervous. This dog would definitely have worried me had he come wandering up to my house!

My husband flew into Tulsa and then drove to Valiant, Ok. I'm not exactly sure where this is, but I do know there is a pulp&paper mill there.
Is this close to you or clear across the state?
I hope he found his way home he looks well fed . By the way I come over from Willow.I like youe dip and cake recipe i will try them. i will return to see and read more
Such a pretty brindle. Maybe he was on his way from one place to another and just needed a friendly place to rest and found YOU!
