The Dip

Corn Dip that is.

Barngoddess asked if I had any dip recipes. This is one I got from a friend and it is delish!

2 - 11 oz cans whole kernal corn (drained)
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. mayo
2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp Tabasco
2 Tbsp cilantro (dry or fresh)
1 - 4 oz can green chiles
2 Tbsp jalapenos
salt

(There weren't any directions with this recipe, but I mix it all together and chill for a couple of hours before serving.)

Enjoy!

Thanks for this recipe!! I've had this at several outings, and never could get a recipe.

I'm going to make some...and pig out this weekend.

All these "quotes of the day" are stimulating my mind and for some reason making me hungry. Or maybe that part can be attributed to the yummy recipes.

I'm finding this odd craving for dip and cake.......go figure.

thnx for the recipe!! I actually HAVE every single one of these ingredients in my kitchen. I think Ill make some and serve it w/ our grilled burgers tonite! I had better get some other kind of chips to serve w/ it tho, all I have is tater chips.

I am having Thanksgiving at my house this year ( we have a BIG, new home we just bought) so I am looking for some new dips or recipes in general to try out.

Thanks!

OK, This is the T.H.I.R.D.
time I've tried to post a comment.

I love this recipe and I add lots of fresh cilantro to it.
Will not write anymore until I see if Globber cooperates this time.

Tiggerlane - So glad I could give you a recipe you have wanted for a while. :) It is so good, now I think I am going to have to make some too.

Shauna - I am not sure what you have missed out on. There's really not a lot to miss. :) I am in the baking/cooking mood 24/7. That is just what I love. :)

Robin - please just don't dip your cake. :) Oh, my Mom puts milk over her cornbread and it grosses me out. McD puts milk on over his cake, that grosses me out too. I guess thinking of dipping cake just brought back those icky thoughts.

Lori - can't wait to hear how you like it. Yea, get some different chips. Fritos are really good with it, and plain ol' Doritos or something like it too.

WT - I thought of you when I posted this. I figured these ingredients were pretty well available to ya. I expect photos and a review. Recipe review. :)

Marnie - I am right there with ya. I like a little more jalapeno but I don't add it because not everyone likes it as hot as I do. (Okay, no gutter comments here.)

Swampwitch - I am so sorry you are having issues with Blogger. Have you been talking really nice to it? :)
