Needed Details

Okay people. Apparently some are not paying much attention. So I need to clarify something. Ruby and Babe - are.not.mules. Got it? Okay. Sorry to be so blunt with it, but Ruby and Babe would be hurt if they knew they were mistaken for mules. I am not going to tell them, but you never know about McD.

Ruby and Babe are Percheron HORSES. Draft horses. (Everyone should know, McD was quite upset with the mule comments as well.) Sorry, hun.

One more thing. I failed to mention in my post about Susie that she belonged to Ree for 4 years. Then she went to her father-in-law. She was nice enough to point out in my comments that I failed to mention that. Thanks Ree. I just wasn't thinking. :)

Just for the record, I knew they were horses. In fact I knew they were draft horses . I didn't remember they were Percherons, though you did mention it when Babe got stuck in the mud.

I can't type because I'm laughing so hard ! First of all, I did know they weren't mules, but after reading the comments before mine, I just had to follow suit. I do admit, I didn't know they were Percherons. Please apologize to hubby and your babies if I upset them with my poetry.

There were two Percheron horses
Who I knew were not mules, of courses.
Ree set the record is straight
That two mules they ain't
Here's my apology with sincere remorses.

Know what the turkey will be saying next month?
"GLOBBLE GLOBBLE GLOBBLE !"
Get it ?

Dear McD, Ruby, and Babe:
In order to clear up any misconception that you may be mules (not you McD), I have included you in today's post.
Sincerely,
Swampmule

I'm laughing cause you all are funny but...I'm a suburban girl. I can tell and explain the dif between and mule and a horse but....I am pretty clueless why everyone is upset about being called a mule. What's the stigma? Help out the dumb suburban girl.

Swampy - that is great!!! I laughed out loud - at both, my message and the comment. Hee hee!! McD wasn't really upset. Oh and Ree set the story straight about Susie. :)

Pamela - No, McD's bark is worse than his bite. :) Oh I mean Susie's. :) McD wasn't really too upset, but he did send me an email saying the "girls" would be upset. :) And he told me I needed to set the woman straight that they weren't mules. :) Oh, and I remember you mentioning you showed all your co-workers the Babe post. It was an amazing post and photos.

Pam - nothing wrong with mules, if you like mules. :) The reason it is a "deal" here is because we have dealt with mules and horses at the same time. Mules are really dumb. Okay, I am sure there are some extremely bright mules out there but the ones we had here (not ours, we just let someone keep them out here) were not too bright. They were annoying and just plain ol' stupid most of the time. Ruby & Babe didn't care for them too much either. That is why there was an issue with it. Silly I know.

So just so everyone knows, McD is fine, he isn't upset. And we didn't tell the girls. :)
