The Fall Carnival

(The above photos are not mine. I tried to link to the page but the link no longer works.)

To see these photos of different colorful leaves Click Here. There are some really great photos of the changing leaves and what each kind of tree leaves look like.

Fall Colors are everywhere. Be sure to check out where the leaves are turning near you.

Our weather hasn't changed enough for the leaves to be changing, so I don't have any photos of my own.

Fall means it is time for chili, hot chocolate, sitting around the fire, and the holidays are coming. I will be posting a really good chili recipe this week so come back to get it.

Hope everyone is enjoying the Carnival.

Yea, get the fireplace going and Hot tea or chocolate. Means we have to move our furniture around in the family room - so the fireplace can be enjoyed.

I love to hear the snap crackle of locust wood.

Heading over to look at fall leaves. May go out and see what pix I can take myself today.

Gorgeous. I LOVE FALL!!!!!! Here in the Pacific NW - we don't get quite the same color as on the Eastern side (because there are so many Evergreens mixed in among the changing trees) But, it is still beautiful all the same.

No colors here in Virginia Beach either, but I'm heading out to West Virginia and the mountains with some friends this coming weekend. Hopefully we'll see lots of Fall colors. Plan to take loads of pictures. Great pictures.

Ah...pretty pictures! Last week my friend Angela just had to make caramel apples with my kids. Said it reminded her of fall.

We don't get decent, colourful Autumns, most of our trees are gums (maybe that's why we don't call it Fall, because the leaves don't). I wish we did.

Our leaves have already changed and it's beautiful here. Yesterday was sunny and 70 so we went for a walk through the woods and loved every minute of it. They're predicting snow here by the end of the week (boo!) so I'm glad we got out while we still could enjoy some warm weather.
